WANTED FUGITIVE ARRESTED IN WALLER COUNTY

A joint operation by multiple law enforcement agencies led to the arrest of a wanted fugitive in Waller County.

During the early morning hours on Wednesday, the fugitive was tracked by the United States Marshal’s Office Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force to a residence in the 1000 Block of Thunder Field Drive in Katy.

They were joined by the Austin County Special Response Team, the Austin County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit “Knox”, and the Waller County Sheriff’s Office.

41-year-old Regis Curtis was taken into custody on a federal arrest warrant from Indiana for Distribution of Fentanyl and Heroin.

Following his apprehension, Curtis was transported and booked into the Waller County Jail in Hempstead.
