BRENHAM BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT TO MEET MONDAY

The Brenham Board of Adjustment will hold its first meeting of the year on Monday.

The board’s first item will be the election of a chair and vice chair for 2025.

Next will be a public hearing and vote on requests from Amado Escobar Jr. and Roni Ruiz Escobar to allow a 6.6-foot west side yard setback, where 10 feet is normally the minimum, and a 7-foot front yard setback, where 25 feet is the standard, to build a carport at a home at 205 Mary Gene Street.

City staff recommends approval of the requests.

The board will meet Monday at 5:15 p.m. at Brenham City Hall.
