THREE CALLS TUESDAY FOR BRENHAM FD INCLUDE ACCIDENT, GAS ODOR

The Brenham Fire Department responded to three calls on Tuesday.

Around 1 p.m., units received a report of a gas odor at a home in the 2300 block of Parker Court.  Firefighters and the City of Brenham Gas Department arrived and checked the area for a leak or smell.  After investigation, the fire department returned to service.

At 3:30 p.m., BFD members were dispatched for a good-intent call at a residence in the 300 block of North Baylor Street.  Firefighters checked on the residents for the owner, and everything was okay, so they returned to the station.

A few minutes after 3:30 p.m., personnel were called out to a crash in the 2600 block of Highway 36 South.  Upon making location, they found a two-vehicle accident with injuries.  Units removed the debris from the roadway and provided traffic control, clearing the call once the vehicles were removed.
