BRENHAM POLICE MAKE ARRESTS FOR TERRORISTIC THREAT, DWI WARRANT
Two people were arrested by Brenham police on Wednesday, one on a charge of terroristic threat and another on an out-of-county warrant.
At 6:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of South Chappell Hill Street for a complaint. After further investigation, 34-year-old Keith White Jr. of Richmond was taken into custody. White was searched and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked for Terroristic Threat of a Family/Household Member.
Shortly before 8:30 p.m., Officer Garrett Downs conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Highway 290 East. Police say their investigation revealed that the driver, 49-year-old Juan Tapia Velazquez of Brenham, had an active warrant out of Austin County for Bond Forfeiture – Driving While Intoxicated. Velazquez was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
