WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO HOLD STRATEGIC PLANNING MEETING, CONSIDER RECRUITING SERVICES FOR 911 COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR
Washington County Commissioners will begin strategic planning efforts and potentially hire a firm to recruit for a new 911 Communications Director at two meetings next week.
The first meeting on Monday at 2 p.m. will be a strategic planning kickoff session with Strategic Government Resources (SGR). The county engaged in March with SGR for executive search consulting and related services, pertaining to the development of a county-wide strategic plan.
Monday’s meeting is expected to be discussion only.
During the regular meeting on Tuesday at 9 a.m., commissioners will consider a proposal from SGR for executive recruitment services for the 911 Communications Director position.
The county’s emergency dispatch department has been led on an interim basis by Jerod Hartfield since the fall, after the resignations of former director Robyn Hood and former operations manager Shannon Selden.
Also at Tuesday’s meeting, the court will receive a quarterly report from EMS and vote on an expedited development agreement with TimeClock Plus, LLC. The county has a software subscription with the company for scheduling and payroll processing.
Both of the commissioners court meetings will be held at the Washington County Courthouse.
