BRENHAM POLICE MAKE WARRANT ARRESTS FOR VEHICLE BURGLARY, LACK OF INSURANCE/DRIVER’S LICENSE
Brenham police arrested two people on Tuesday for active warrants.
Shortly after 2:30 p.m., Officer Gabriel Duran and Corporal Tina Bruno were driving near the 1000 block of West Main Street and observed a male who was known to be a wanted person. Upon receiving confirmation of having an active warrant, 27-year-old Matthew Todd of Brenham was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail. The warrant, out of Washington County, was for Burglary of a Vehicle with Two Prior Convictions.
Around 10:30 p.m., Officer Danielle Corrado conducted a traffic stop in the area of Highway 290 East and Handley Street. After further investigation, police found 28-year-old Arshazia Henderson of Washington to have three active warrants out of Washington County: No Liability Insurance and two counts of No Driver’s License. Henderson was placed into custody and transported without incident to the Washington County Jail.
