WASHINGTON CO. FAIR AWARDS OVER $131,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS

  

Twenty-eight Washington County seniors have been presented with $131,923 in scholarships from the Washington County Fair.

The seniors received the awards during this (Thursday) morning’s annual Scholarship Breakfast.

Scholarships included the Washington County Fair Scholarship, Bucket Calf Mentor Scholarship, Champion Drive Buddy Scholarship and the Queen Candidate Scholarship.

The recipients will attend 11 different colleges and universities and have chosen a variety of fields of study to pursue, including agriculture, health, engineering and finance.

Washington County Fair President Ricky Bosse says, “We are incredibly proud of everything our 2025 scholars have achieved.  It’s a privilege to support and recognize outstanding youth in our community through scholarships like this.”
