The Brenham Cubettes battled Nederland close through out Game 1 as the game was tied 3-3 going into the Top of the 7th inning when Nederland was able to plate 1 run and held Brenham in the bottom of the 7th to get the win. Good defense and timely hitting was the key to victory for Nederland. Game 2 is set for tonight (Friday) at 7:00 also to be played at CE King HS.
