BRENHAM PD REPORTS ARRESTS FOR ASSAULT BY THREAT, ASSAULT CAUSING INJURY

  

Two Brenham men were booked into jail on Tuesday, one for assault by threat and the other for assault causing injury.

At 12:15 p.m., Officer Ramon Torres was dispatched to the 200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway in reference to a disturbance.  While conducting the investigation, the suspect was identified as 37-year-old Frankie CJ Ortiz of Brenham and apprehended.  Ortiz was transported to the Washington County Jail for an active warrant out of Brenham Municipal Court for Driving While License Invalid and for Assault by Threat to a Family Member. 

Around 7:15 p.m., officers responded to the area of the 100 block of East Stone Street for a disturbance.  After investigation, police arrested 60-year-old Michael Lang of Brenham for Assault Causing Bodily Injury.  Lang was taken to the Washington County Jail.
