WASHINGTON CO. DAIRY DAY POSTPONED
Washington County AgriLife Extension has announced that the Washington County Dairy Day event scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday) will not be held.
Washington County Family and Community Health Agent Stephanie Rudolph said, “The dairy committee has made the tough decision to postpone this year’s Dairy Day, but they are evaluating plans to host the event at a different time in the future.”
When asked if the event could be held later this year, Rudolph said that would be a decision made by the committee.
Dairy Day brings 4-H and FFA students from around the region to the Washington County Expo to learn more about dairy cattle.
In place of the scheduled broadcast from Dairy Day tomorrow morning, KWHI will speak with Rudolph about Washington County’s roots in the dairy industry and share facts about dairy.
