BRENHAM FIRE DEPT. RESPONDS MONDAY TO ROLLOVER ACCIDENT, FIRE ALARM

The Brenham Fire Department was called out twice on Monday.

A few minutes past 7:45 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to Highway 290 West and Highway 36 North for a report of a transportation incident.  They made location to find a single vehicle rollover accident.  The fire department helped EMS with patient care and cleaned the spill from the roadway before returning to service.  One patient was transported by EMS, but their status is unknown.

Around 11 a.m., BFD members went out to High Hope Care Center, 401 East Blue Bell Road, for an alarm sounding.  Nothing was showing from the exterior of the building when they arrived, and they did not find any signs of smoke or fire, so they reset the alarm and cleared the scene.
