BURTON FFA RECOGNIZED IN INAUGURAL TEXAS FFA GOLDEN CUP RANKINGS

The Burton FFA has been recognized as one of the top-performing programs in the state through the first-ever Texas FFA Golden Cup Rankings.

Burton FFA ranked 22nd out of roughly 1,100 FFA chapters across the state and ranked 5th out of all 2A chapters with 652 points.

The new statewide recognition platform highlights the most competitive, involved and well-rounded FFA chapters in Texas.

The Golden Cup Rankings are modeled after the UIL Texas Cup and track chapter performance in factors such as Leadership Development Events, Career Development Events, Speaking Development Events, state-level awards and scholarships.  Points are awarded based on participation, final placings and program engagement at all levels.

Burton ISD says the recognition “reflects the hard work and commitment of our students, our agricultural science teachers, and our supportive community.”
