BRENHAM WOMAN CHARGED WITH CRIMINAL TRESPASS, EVADING ARREST
A Brenham woman was arrested early this (Thursday) morning on evasion and criminal trespass charges.

Close to 12:15 a.m., Brenham Police Officer Garrett Downs was dispatched to the 1700 block of West Main Street for a verbal disturbance.
Investigation revealed that 17-year-old Destiny Sumpter was on location. According to police, Sumpter knew she was trespassed from the property and attempted to evade law enforcement, but was quickly caught.
Sumpter was placed into custody for Evading Arrest/Detention and Criminal Trespass. She was transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
