BELLVILLE FFA NAMED INTERNATIONAL RESERVE CHAMPION AT SCOTLAND’S ROYAL HIGHLAND SHOW

  

The Bellville FFA Livestock Team earned esteemed accolades last month during the Royal Highland Show in Scotland.

The team competed on June 21^st and was one of 33 teams invited to the event.

Bellville FFA took home the title of International Reserve Champion and was the High Point FFA Team.

Individually, Levi Malinowski placed as High Individual.  Teaghan Eckelberg and Taylor Eckelberg were 7^th High Individual and 9^th High Individual, respectively.  Paisley Miller was 11^th High Individual, and Darcy Luedke ranked as the 19^th High Individual.

The team is coached by Craig Melton.

In addition to the competition, team members were able to participate in technical farm visits across Scotland, Ireland and London.  They also toured local agricultural businesses, met agricultural leaders in the United Kingdom and visited historical monuments and buildings.

The Bellville FFA says it “couldn’t be more proud of this team for representing our Chapter, State and the USA at this contest.”
