FIVE SENTENCED IN 21ST DISTRICT COURT
Five people pleaded guilty and were sentenced last week in 21st District Court before Judge Carson Campbell.
30-year-old Gregory Wayne Chatman II of Navasota, sentenced to 8 years in prison on three counts of Burglary of a Habitation, a second degree felony. Chatman was also sentenced to 780 days in state jail for two counts of Burglary of a Building, a state jail felony.
52-year-old Gregory Duane Davis of Chappell Hill, sentenced to 3 years’ probation for Assault of a Family Member Impeding Breath/Circulation, a third degree felony. Davis was also fined $500 and ordered to perform 180 hours of community service, maintain no contact with the victim in the case, and complete a batterers intervention program.
20-year-old Ranija Carreion Williams of Caldwell, sentenced to 2 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, Less Than a Gram, and for Credit/Debit Card Abuse, both state jail felonies. Williams must also pay a $500 fine and perform 100 hours of community service.
31-year-old Mitchell Anthony Valdez of Cypress, sentenced to 253 days in state jail for Burglary of a Building, a state jail felony.
58-year-old Felicia Deshion Graves of Brenham, sentenced to 1 year of probation for Assault Causing Bodily Injury, a Class A misdemeanor. Graves was also ordered to pay a $500 fine, perform 100 hours of community service and maintain no contact with the victim in the case.
