BURTON LIFTS DROUGHT CONTINGENCY MEASURES
The City of Burton has lifted its Stage 5 water restrictions.
According to Burton Mayor Karen Buck, the cementing phase for the drilling of the city’s new water well was completed late Saturday afternoon.
With that work now done, households and businesses may return to normal water usage.
Buck says this phase of the drilling process was finished without a loss of water pressure or outages. She thanks the public for its efforts to conserve water during this past week.
