FORMER BRENHAM CUB, HENRY CONE, SIGNS AS UNDRAFTED FREE AGENT WITH CHICAGO CUBS
On Tuesday night, former Brenham Cub, Henry Cone signed with the Chicago Cubs as an undrafted free agent. Cone spent the past season with Abilene Christian, striking out 15 batters and earning 4 saves, all in WAC play. Cone had a 1.43 WHIP and held batters to a .224 batting avg. Cone also received Academic All-WAC honors.
