90 PROOF COUNTRY GETS DOWNTOWN BRENHAM TWO-STEPPING FOR ‘HOT NIGHTS, COOL TUNES’
Downtown Brenham had people getting down, turning around and going to town Saturday night for the third “Hot Nights, Cool Tunes” concert of the summer.
90 PROOF Country, a group out of Dallas-Fort Worth, played country classics from iconic artists like Garth Brooks, Hal Ketchum, Brooks & Dunn and many others.
Concertgoers were also able to check out the Stray Katz Car Club, who lined Alamo Street with its classic car cruise-in.
The concert was hosted by the City of Brenham and Main Street Brenham. Sponsors were Woodson Lumber Company, Blue Bell Creameries, Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative and Citizens State Bank.
The final concert of the summer will be this Saturday with The Spicolis, an MTV tribute band out of Houston. They are sponsored by Strand Associates, Valmont Industries, Budweiser – Mike Hopkins Distributing and Chelsea Build.
