RETIREMENT PARTY WEDNESDAY AT NORMAN’S PHARMACY FOR ‘SHORTY’ KWIATKOWSKI
A longtime employee at Norman’s Pharmacy in Brenham is retiring, and the business is hosting a retirement party to celebrate.
Edward “Shorty” Kwiatkowski is calling it a career after 22 ½ years at Norman’s.
The pharmacy, located at 2105 South Day Street, is hosting a come-and-go gathering tomorrow (Wednesday) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests can come as they are and wish Kwiatkowski all the best in retirement.
During Kwiatkowski’s time at Norman’s, he has delivered medication to homes, assisted living facilities and nursing homes. He says he not only delivered prescriptions, but he also did his best to bring a smile to folk’s faces.
Kwiatkowski says he has worked with great pharmacists and technicians over his career, and he has developed meaningful relationships with them. He says he remains grateful for the initial opportunity, when he retired from Mrs. Baird’s and was approached by Ken Korthauer about delivering prescriptions for his pharmacy.
Now at 91, Kwiatkowski says he plans to sit back, relax, and enjoy time with his family.
