BRENHAM POLICE ARREST TWO ON WARRANTS
Two Brenham women were arrested by local police on warrants on Tuesday.
Approaching 9:30 a.m., Brenham Police Officer Garrett Downs conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of South Blue Bell Road and Pecan Street for expired registration. Police say their investigation revealed that the driver, identified as 41-year-old Florence Jackson, was operating a motor vehicle while her license was suspended and had two active warrants for No Driver’s License. Jackson was placed into custody for the warrants and for Driving While License Invalid Enhanced, No Driver’s License and Display/Expired Registration.
Close to 1:45 p.m., Officer Downs conducted a close patrol in the 2400 block of South Chappell Hill Street, where he made contact with a known wanted subject identified as 43-year-old Princess Franklin. Police say Franklin showed to have two warrants, one for Abandoning/Endangering a Child – Criminal Negligence and the other for No Driver’s License. Franklin was placed into custody and taken to the Washington County Jail for booking.
