TWO SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT
Two people pleaded guilty and were sentenced this week in 21st and 335th District Court before Judge John Winkelmann.
35-year-old Jose Ricardo Chavez of Bryan, probation adjudicated and sentenced to 2 years in state jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram, a state jail felony. Chavez must also pay a $500 fine.
23-year-old Jaylene O’Brien Robinson of Brenham, sentenced to 4 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Deadly Conduct – Discharge of a Firearm, a third degree felony. Robinson was also ordered to pay a $500 fine.
