BLINN BOARD TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING & VOTE ON PROPOSED TAX RATE, DISCUSS MASTER PLAN PROJECTS
The Blinn Board of Trustees will hold three meetings on Tuesday.
The first meeting at 9:30 a.m. will be a public hearing to review and offer comments on the College’s proposed 2025 tax rate.
The proposed rate of $0.0438 per $100 valuation is up from the current adopted rate of $0.0421. It exceeds the no-new-revenue rate of $0.0404 and is just shy of the voter approval rate of $0.0439.

The public hearing will be followed by another meeting at 9:45 a.m., where trustees will potentially adopt a resolution for the 2025 tax rate.
The board will then move into a workshop session at 10 a.m., to receive an update on projects in the College’s master plan.
All meetings will be held in the third floor board room of the Brenham Campus Administration Building. They will be livestreamed on Blinn College’s YouTube channel.
