BRENHAM CITY COUNCIL TO CONSIDER INSURANCE COVERAGE PLANS
The Brenham City Council will hold a special meeting on Wednesday to approve insurance coverage plans for the upcoming fiscal year.
Councilmembers will first act on agreements for medical, dental, vision, life and long-term disability coverage for employees. Agreements will also be considered for the administration of flexible spending accounts/dependent care reimbursement, health savings accounts and COBRA. Additionally, the council will take up agreements for employee assistance and financial wellness programs.
In other insurance-related business, the council will look at renewing its cyber liability and data breach response coverage.
The meeting will conclude with a work session for a presentation by Strategic Government Resources (SGR) on Washington County’s strategic planning initiative.
The council will meet Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. in conference room 2-A at Brenham City Hall.
