BURTON SCHOOL BOARD TO REVIEW CONTRACT FOR EMERGENCY REPAIRS

A contract for emergency repairs will be considered at the Burton School Board’s next meeting on Monday.

Trustees will take up the possible execution of a contract for emergency repair work at Burton ISD facilities.

Superintendent Vikki Curry said the item is being brought forward proactively to ensure the district is in full compliance with the required procurement process.  She said a full explanation will be shared at the meeting.

Also in session, the board will receive a bond construction update, consider nominations for the Washington County Appraisal District Board of Directors, and proceed with an annual agreement designating Washington County Extension Agents as adjunct staff members.

Trustees will potentially go into executive session to consult with an attorney and to discuss personnel, real property, and the implementation of security personnel or devices.  If any action is needed, it will occur in open session.

The board will meet Monday at 6 p.m. in the Burton ISD Administration Office.
