BRENHAM POLICE MAKE WEEKEND ARRESTS FOR AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, TRAFFIC WARRANTS
Brenham police arrested three people over the weekend on charges ranging from traffic warrants to aggravated assault.
At 9:15 p.m. Friday, Sergeant Jose Perez and Officer Mateo Guillen responded to the 2400 block of South Chappell Hill Street for a lapsed theft. While officers were on scene, dispatch advised that 21-year-old Thomas Wayne Pelzel of Brenham had four active traffic warrants out of Washington County of No Seat Belt – Driver, Display/Expired Registration, No Driver’s License, and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility. Pelzel was taken into custody for his warrants and booked into the Washington County Jail without incident.
Shortly after 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Officer Gabriel Duran responded to a reported disturbance in the 800 block of West Second Street. After further investigation, police took 32-year-old Pamela Rene Clark of Brenham into custody on a charge of Aggravated Assault – Family Violence with a Deadly Weapon. Clark was transported to the Washington County Jail and booked in.
Approaching 7:30 p.m., Sergeant Perez conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of West Lubbock Street. Police say their investigation revealed that the driver, 38-year-old Latrice Ruckett of College Station, showed to be wanted out of Brazos County for Driving While License Invalid. Ruckett was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
