BURTON VOLLEYBALL WINS SECOND STRAIGHT DISTRICT GAME AGAINST HEARNE
The Burton Lady Panther Volleyball Team improved to 2-0 in district with a win over Hearne last (Tuesday) night. Burton swept the sets 25-9, 25-13, and 25-8.
Amaya Williams and Lexi Broesche led the offense with five kills each.
Adison Harmel and Laci Broesche dished out 12 assists apiece.
On serves, Lexi Broesche finished with six aces, while Harmel added five aces.
Taylor Groce led the defense with eight digs.
With the win, the Lady Panthers improved to 29-9 on the season.
Burton will next host Somerville on Friday at 4pm.
