CUBETTE VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS RUDDER TO END FIRST HALF OF DISTRICT

The Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team got back on the winning track last (Tuesday) night with a three-set sweep over Rudder in Bryan.

The Cubettes won the sets 25-18, 25-22, and 25-14.

Hannah Bush led the offense with 11 kills and five aces. Antyiahna Lang added nine kills, while Maggie Thibodeaux finished with seven kills.

Claire Huff dished out 14 assists, while Brinley Benson was right behind her with 13 assists.

Logan Hayslip led the defense with 19 digs, and Zoe Zwerneman chipped in with 12 digs.

Brenham improves to 22-14 on the season and 2-4 in district.

Next up, the Cubettes return to action on Friday night, where they will travel to Lake Creek. First serve is scheduled for 6pm.
