BLINN TO HOST BLOCK PARTY FOR NATIONAL NIGHT OUT
Blinn College is planning to be part of the “National Night Out” fun with their own block party coming up on Tuesday night.
The block party is being held at the Leroy Dreyer Baseball Field on the Brenham campus beginning at 6pm.
Those planning to attend are asked to park across the street in the Student Center parking lot, and walk over to the field. Police officers will be there to help people cross.
They will have free food including sausage wraps, pizza, roasted corn, and Blue Bell Ice Cream.
At the Blinn event, they will have representatives from the Brenham Police Department, Blinn Police Department, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the Texas DPS, Brenham Fire Department, Washington County EMS, recruiters from the Army and the Marines, and more.
In addition to that, you can also meet the National Champion Blinn Cheer and Dance teams.
A reminder that tomorrow (Friday) at 5pm is the deadline to get your block party on the list to be visited by first responders.
Parties in the Brenham city limits can be registered by calling Brenham Police Sgt. Terrence Johnson at 979-337-7367.
