BURTON VOLLEYBALL STAYS UNBEATEN WITH SWEEP OVER SOMERVILLE

The Burton Lady Panther Volleyball Team stayed unbeaten in district with a three-set sweep over Somerville on Friday night.

Burton dominated the sets 25-5, 25-11, and 25-4.

Lexi Broesche had a double-double with 16 kills and 13 digs. Adison Harmel had eight aces and 19 assists. Laci Broesche was right behind with 16 assists.

Paige Fritsch led the defense with 14 digs.

The win improves Burton to 30-9 on the season and 3-0 in district.

Next up, Burton will host Snook tomorrow (Tuesday) night at the Burton High School Gym.
