BRENHAM POLICE MAKE ARRESTS ON CHARGES OF ASSAULT, ENDANGERMENT
Brenham police made three arrests on Monday.
A few minutes before 8 a.m., Officer Ronnie Jackson, Officer Trinten Rolling and Sergeant Tiffany Anderson responded to the 900 block of West First Street in reference to a disturbance. Officers learned that a victim had been assaulted multiple times and that the suspect had an active warrant out of Washington County for No Driver’s License. 25-year-old Timothy Ray Ragston Jr. of Brenham was placed into custody for Unlawful Restraint, Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member, Abandoning/Endangering a Child – Criminal Negligence, and his active warrant.
At 5:45 p.m., Officer Mateo Guillen and Sergeant Jose Perez responded to the 1200 block of Highway 105 for a suspicious vehicle. After further investigation, the driver of the vehicle, 47-year-old Theus Spates of Brenham, was taken into custody for Abandoning/Endangering a Disabled Individual and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked without incident.
Shortly after 8:45 p.m., Officer Brayten Rolling responded to a call for service in reference to a disturbance located in the 2100 block of Highway 290 West. After conducting an investigation, police found that the suspect had allegedly assaulted an individual for a separate incident that occurred prior to law enforcement’s arrival. 19-year-old Christian Jaylon-Reassan Nunn of Brenham was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for Assault Causing Bodily Injury.
