BRENHAM POLICE ARREST FOUR ON WARRANTS FOR CRIMINAL TRESPASS, MARIJUANA POSSESSION, TRAFFIC OFFENSES

  

Brenham police made four arrests on various offenses over the weekend.

Dawna Christine Ojeda
(Washington Co. Jail)

Just before 9:30 a.m. Friday, Officer Ronnie Jackson and Officer Trinten Rolling responded to the intersection of South Market and East Stone Streets in reference to a crash.  During their investigation, it was revealed that 29-year-old Dawna Ojeda of Hempstead had six active warrants.  Five of the warrants came from Brenham Municipal Court for Failing to Stop at a Stop Sign, Speeding 10 Percent Over the Limit, Driving While License Invalid, Display/Expired Registration and Driving While License Invalid.  The sixth warrant was from the Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Office for Speeding 10 Percent Over the Limit.  Ojeda was booked in for her warrants and for Driving While License Invalid Enhanced.

Sean Preston Schulz

Close to 9:45 a.m., Sergeant Jose Perez conducted a traffic stop in the 3500 block of Highway 36 South.  Upon making contact, investigation revealed that the driver, 37-year-old Sean Schulz of Fayetteville, showed to have an active warrant out of Fayette County for Criminal Trespass with a Deadly Weapon.  Once the warrant was confirmed, Schulz was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.

Rotavia Lakayla Nicole Franklin

Nearing 9:30 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 900 block of Thiel Street regarding a disturbance.  Police investigation determined that 18-year-old Rotavia Franklin of Brenham had an active warrant out of Washington County for her arrest.  Franklin was taken into custody and booked without incident at the Washington County Jail for her active warrant: Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. 

Adan Benjamin Villatoro

A few minutes after 10:30 p.m., Sergeant Perez conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Kerr Street.  Investigation indicated that the driver, 22-year-old Adan Villatoro of Brenham, showed to have three active warrants out of Washington County, including two for No Driver’s License and another for Possession of Tobacco by a Minor.  Villatoro was placed into custody for the active warrants and taken to the Washington County Jail for booking.
