ROUND TOP RIFLE HALL GETTING READY FOR OKTOBIERFEST

A tinge of fall is in the air and it is time again to celebrate OktoBierFest at the historic Round Top Schuetzen Verein on Saturday Oktober 25.

Festivities begin at 11 am with the Round Top Brass Band taking center stage.

The entertainment stage also will feature Auf Geht’s, a Bavarian style party band from Houston, local renowned Yodeler from Frelsburg Jason Keepers and his Enzian Buam.

Music will be non-stop until 6PM and food will be available all day.

Scheduled at 12 noon, is the ever popular tapping of the ceremonial keg, to officially open the festivities and at 3 pm the Stein Holding contest for the guys as well as the gals will be held.

Also on hand will be the Saufmaschine (drinking machine) which is also a fun activity.

The entire event is sponsored by the Round Top Rifle Association, located at 710 FM 1457 in Round Top. All are invited to experience a true, Bavarian style, Oktoberfest.
