BURTON VOLLEYBALL WINS DISTRICT TITLE WITH SWEEP OF SOMERVILLE
The #2 Ranked Burton Lady Panther Volleyball Team wrapped up the District 26-2A Championship last (Tuesday) night in Somerville with a three-set sweep over the Lady Yeguas.
Burton is now 34-9 on the season, and 7-0 in district. The Lady Panthers will finish out district play on Friday night at Snook.
Burton won the sets 25-17, 25-8, and 25-10. Lexi Broesche led the Lady Panthers with 13 kills, six aces, and 20 digs.
Aerynn Huntsman added ten kills, while Adison Harmel dished out 29 assists, and Laci Broesche finished with 10 assists.
On defense, Paige Fritsch came up with 16 digs, and Taylor Groce chipped in with 10 digs.
