BUSTED OAK CELLARS TO HOST 4TH ANNUAL CHILI COOK-OFF
Busted Oak Cellars Winery is hosting their 4th annual Chili Cook-off to raise money for a good cause.
The Chili Cook-off is scheduled for Saturday, November 1, at the winery, which is located at 6195 Round Top Road in Carmine.
In addition to the cook-off, there will also be a silent auction, and an arts and crafts show.
Proceeds from the event go to benefit Camp Hope in Houston.
Camp Hope is an interim housing program for veterans to receive help relieving the effects of combat trauma. They provide peer support, mentor programs, and professional development.
Veterans can also meet with licensed health care professionals each week, and there is no cost to them or their families.
The Chili Cook-off includes chili, beans, sangria, salsa, and an art booth.
Entry fees are $25 for the chili and the art booth. Meanwhile, the beans, sangria, and salsa events are $15 each.
The Chili Cook-off is sponsored by Busted Oak Cellars and Harley Seasoning.
