CHARGES INCLUDING THEFT, POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE IN BRENHAM PD ARRESTS

  

Brenham police arrested two people on Thursday, one on charges of criminal trespass and theft, and the other for multiple warrants and possession of a controlled substance.

Just past 4:30 p.m., Officer Darrell Nunn Jr. was dispatched to the 200 block of Highway 290 West in regards to issuing a criminal trespass warning.  After investigating the matter, police arrested 41-year-old Guadalupe Bonilla Rodriguez Franco of Bellville for Criminal Trespass and Theft of Property $100 - $750.

Shortly before midnight, K9 Sergeant Jimmy Ha was patrolling near the 1300 block of Prairie Lea Street and conducted a locals check on an individual, identified as 41-year-old Robert Weaver of Dayton.  Police say their investigation revealed that Weaver had four active warrants out of Washington County: Failure to Appear – Traffic, Speeding, Driving While License Invalid and No Liability Insurance.  With the assistance of Corporal James Catchings and a DPS Trooper, Weaver was taken into custody for the warrants and for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 1-4 Grams.
