‘ADDRESS UNKNOWN’ TO PLAY AT UNITY THEATRE NOV. 13-23

Unity Theatre in Brenham will soon present a drama about relationships, choices, and the distance that can grow between even the closest of friends.

“Address Unknown” is based on the bestselling novel of Kathrine Kressmann Taylor that was written as an anti-fascist warning and was banned in 1930s Germany.  The Studio Series production will play in Unity’s black box space November 13-23.

In “Address Unknown”, two lifelong friends run an art gallery in America, but when Martin returns to his native Germany and Max remains in San Francisco, their correspondence reveals the growing tension and tragedy of a world in turmoil, and loyalty and conscience collide.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays, 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. on Sundays.  Audiences will be able to visit with the cast and staff of the show during a talk back following the preview performance on November 13th.  Director Justin O’Brien will chat with guests before the show on November 22nd.

Tickets are $27, with the preview performance priced at $23.  Circle Member and subscriber reservations begin on Monday, and public sales open on November 3rd
