WEEK ONE OF EARLY VOTING BRINGS OUT OVER 1,300

  

The first week of early voting is in the books in Washington County.

According to Elections Administrator Carol Jackson, the week concluded with 335 voters on Friday for the Texas Constitutional Amendment propositions.  Of that 335, there were 316 who also voted in the Brenham ISD elections.

After five days of early voting, there have been 1,324 ballots cast, including 1,231 for Brenham ISD.

Early voting at the Washington County Courthouse Annex resumes on Monday.  Hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.  Extended hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. will be offered on Thursday and Friday.  No voting is available over the weekend.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 4th.
