BRENHAM PD MAKES ARRESTS FOR PUBLIC INTOXICATION, WARRANTS OF ASSAULT & CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE POSSESSION
Brenham police reported arrests this weekend for public intoxication and for warrants.
Around 7:45 p.m. Friday, Sergeant Jose Perez responded to the 2100 block of South Market Street in reference to a wanted subject. Upon arrival, 40-year-old Abigail Guerrero of Brenham was located and placed into custody for an active warrant out of Washington County for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, 1-4 Grams. Guerrero was transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
A few minutes after 2 a.m. Sunday, Sergeant Perez was dispatched to a welfare concern in the 2200 block of South Market Street. Police say their investigation revealed that 32-year-old Kassandra Gaona of Brenham was walking on the side of the roadway and was highly intoxicated. Gaona was placed into custody for Public Intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
At 12:30 p.m., Officer Ronnie Jackson and Officer Trinten Rolling responded to the 1900 block of Pecan Circle Drive in reference to a criminal trespass. When officers arrived, dispatch advised that one of the subjects involved, identified as 23-year-old Tavius Davon Clark of Brenham, had an active warrant for Assault Causing Bodily Injury out of the Austin County Sheriff’s Office. After dispatch confirmed the active warrant, Clark was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
