CLUB AMERICA WASHINGTON COUNTY HOLDS FIRST MEETING

A new organization has been formed for students in Washington County who aspire to be leaders in the community.

Members of the new Washington County chapter of
Club America gathered for an introductory meeting
on Thursday at the Fireman's Park pavilion in
Brenham.

Club America of Washington County held its first meeting on Thursday at the Fireman’s Park pavilion in Brenham, introducing club officers and laying out some of the expectations for the group as it gets started.

Club America is a student-led chapter of Turning Point USA, founded by the late Charlie Kirk, that is built on fostering open and healthy dialogue among students on topics like politics and religion, while also encouraging community service and engagement.

The club is open to all high school students in Washington County, whether they attend public, private or homeschool.

A formal kick-off is planned around November 12th or 13th, with further details to be announced at a later time.  The club plans to meet once or twice per month and perform service projects in the fall and spring.

More information is available on the Club America Washington County Instagram page.
