STANDARD TIME RETURNS SUNDAY; TURN CLOCKS BACK AN HOUR

It’s time to “fall back” an hour, as this weekend marks the end of Daylight Saving Time and the return of standard time.

The time change becomes effective at 2 a.m. tomorrow (Sunday).

The adjustment means the sun will rise earlier in the morning and set earlier in the evening.  Most people will get to enjoy an extra hour of sleep.

While many electronic devices automatically align with the new time, manual clocks will need to be changed.

Standard time is observed in the Northern hemisphere from the first Sunday in November to the second Sunday in March, when Daylight Saving Time returns.
