BRENHAM POLICE SERVE THEFT WARRANT, MAKE CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE ARREST
Brenham police on Monday served a warrant on a Brenham man and arrested a woman from Kyle on a controlled substance charge.
At 6 a.m., Sergeant Tiffany Anderson was dispatched to the 1200 block of Old Independence Road for a warrant service for 40-year-old Joshua Isaac. Isaac’s warrant was for Theft of Property Less Than $2,500 with Two or More Previous Convictions. Isaac was released to staff at the Washington County Jail.
Around 12:15 p.m., Sgt. Anderson conducted a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Highway 290 West for a license plate violation. Police detected an odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle and conducted a probable cause search, in which they reported finding marijuana and THC gummies. The driver, 31-year-old Jenee Skinner, was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, 4-400 Grams, and Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz.
