WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO MEET ON MONDAY

  

Due to the Veterans Day holiday on Tuesday, the Washington County Commissioners Court will be holding their weekly meeting on Monday.

Among the items on the agenda is the approval of the 2024-2025 School Lands Report for their property in Tom Green County, and the disbursement of funds to Brenham ISD and Burton ISD.

They are also scheduled to approve a job description for the position of Chief of Staff, and adopt a county road agreement.

Another item is the approval to authorize the County Auditor to advertise for solicited sealed bids for the Washington County Jail Overlay Project in connection with County purchasing requirements.

The Commissioners will also discuss a Construction and Drainage Easement between the County and John Mikeska III for a drainage project along Dierking Road in Precinct Two.

In addition to that, they are going to vote on whether or not to add Sunflower Lane and Primrose Lane in the Brenham Hills Subdivision, which is located in Precinct Two, to the County Road System.

The Washington County Commissioners Court meets Monday at 9am in their chambers at the Washington County Courthouse.
