BRENHAM POLICE MAKE THREE WARRANT ARRESTS OVER THE WEEKEND
The Brenham Police Department arrested three people with active warrants over the weekend.
The first arrest came on Saturday morning just before 10:45am. Officer Trinten Rolling conducted a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Highway 290 West.
An investigation revealed that 39-year old Kia Woldridge of Ledbetter had seven outstanding warrants from the Brenham Municipal Court. She had three warrants for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility, two warrants for No Driver’s License, one warrant for Displaying Expired Registration, and one warrant for Driving While License Invalid.
Woldridge was place under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail.
Then, on Saturday night just after 11pm, Officer Brayten Rolling conducted a traffic stop in the 4000 block of Highway 36 South.
41-year-old Andy Jude Blanchard of Brenham was found to have two active warrants out of the Brenham Municipal Court for Running a Red Light and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.
Blanchard was arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail.
On Sunday, 6:45pm Officer Brayten Rolling conducted a traffic stop in the 2900 block of Victory Lane.
After investigation, it was found that the driver, 25-year-old Matthew Aaron Sain of Burton had two active warrants out of Brenham Municipal Court for Unrestrained Child (8-16) Not Secured by Safety Belt and No Driver's License.
Sain was placed in custody and transported to the Washington County Jail without incident.
