BLUEBONNET GARDEN CLUB NOVEMBER YARD OF THE MONTH

  

The Bluebonnet Garden Club’s “Yard of the Month” has been awarded for November to the beautifully restored house of Michael Ancone with Laurel Ancone serving as landscape designer and appropriately naming it Bluebonnet Bungalow, with hopes to welcome springtime guests to a large tree-covered patio with a fire pit and fountain made of antique water cans surrounded by bluebonnets.

The front yard is what catches the eye with a low white fence lined with white roses on the outside and miniature pansies on the other, lining the brick walkway.  In addition, the front yard has a variety of greenery and blooming plants, as well as white planters filled with a topiary tree and white petunias.  The house is located at 802 Clinton Street in Brenham.
