ROBBERY, RESISTING ARREST AMONG CHARGES IN BRENHAM POLICE BOOKINGS ON MONDAY, TUESDAY
Brenham police arrested three people between Monday and Tuesday.
Nearing 6:45 p.m. Monday, K9 Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the 600 block of East Academy Street. During the investigation, K9 Maki was deployed and alerted to the odor of narcotics within the vehicle. The driver, 59-year-old Michael Montgomery of Brenham, was taken into custody on charges of Resisting Arrest, Search or Transport; Possession with Intent to Use Inhalant Paraphernalia; and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram.
Close to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Officer Gabriel Duran conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of Highway 290 West. Police determined that the front seat passenger, 44-year-old Rita Fentress of Brenham, had an outstanding warrant out of Washington County for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram. Fentress was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where she was booked in.
Around 11:30 a.m., Officer Ramon Torres and Corporal Grayson Marburger were dispatched to the 200 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a theft. The suspect, identified as 21-year-old Ronaldinho Dodih of Houston, was apprehended and charged with Robbery. Police did not provide further details on the nature of the incident.
