BURTON CROSS COUNTRY EARN POST-SEASON HONORS
The Burton Panthers completed their 2025-2026 Cross Country season earlier this month.
The successful season saw both the Panther and Lady Panther teams advance to the Regional Meet in Corpus Christi.
With the conclusion of the State Meet in Round Rock, the Panthers are free to announce the superlatives the runners earned on the year.
All seven of the Burton Girls earned All-District Honors, with the three seniors: Abigail Dowling, Taylor Groce, and Melanie Wood making the All-State Academic Team. Four of the Burton Boys earned All-District Honors.
