GIDDINGS CHAMBER TO HOST ANNUAL LIGHTED CHRISTMAS PARADE

  

The Giddings Chamber of Commerce is inviting the public to join them for their annual “Bright Lights and Christmas Delights” Lighted Christmas Parade.

The parade is scheduled for next Saturday, November 22, at Veteran’s Park located at 191 Raymond Street in Giddings.

The event is being moved to the park to allow for more vendors and spectators.

This year’s theme is “Believe in the Magic.”

If you would like to have a float or vehicle at the parade, or a vendor booth at the event, registration forms are available on-line at www.giddingstx.com.

According to Jackie Handrick with the Giddings Chamber, they are planning on judging the parade entries at 5:30pm, so participants are advised to arrive early.

The parade itself will start at 6pm.

In addition to the Lighted Christmas Parade, the evening will feature a visit from Santa, a tree lighting ceremony, and a live band playing holiday songs.
