WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MEET IN SPECIAL SESSION TUESDAY
The Washington County Commissioners Court has scheduled their next meeting for Tuesday.
Among the agenda items is the approval for County Judge John Durrenberger to authorize selected members of the Construction Manager-at-Risk Selection Committee to enter into contract negotiations with Collier Construction for the Expo Master Plan projects.
Afterwards, Expo Director Harrison Williams will present the Washington County Expo’s quarterly report.
Also at the meeting, the Commissioners are going to be introduced to the new Prairie View A&M University Extension Ag and Natural Resource Agent Adriana Williams.
Other items on the agenda include possible approval of the Jury Selection Plan for Washington County, and the possible approval to increase the local transaction fee by the District Clerk, County Clerk, and Justice of the Peace Offices from $1 to $2 per transaction.
Adding Clear Woods Court North, Clear Woods Court South, Chappell Reserve Drive, Wooded Reserve Court, Creekside Reserve Court , and Timberside Court in the Reserve at Chappell Hill Subdivision in Precinct 1 into the County Road System will also be discussed.
They are also looking at adding Winding Branch, Hidden Trail, Vista Place, Valley View Court, and Pecan Grove Court in the Washington Heights subdivision in Precinct 2 into the County Road System as well.
The Commissioners meet Tuesday at 9am at the Washington County Courthouse.
