WASHINGTON COUNTY AG EXTENSION HOST AN UPCOMING BLOOD DRIVE

  

The Washington County Extension Office is working with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center to host an upcoming blood drive.

The blood drive is being held at the Washington County Expo Event Center next Tuesday, November 25, from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Community members are encouraged to roll up their sleeves and help save lives by donating blood.

Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are always welcome. However, to ensure a smooth donation process, they do encourage scheduling ahead of time.

To show their appreciation, anyone who donates blood will receive a free blanket as a thank-you gift.

Gulf Coast Blood is also offering free diabetes screenings and A1c tests to all donors.
