ROUND TOP-CARMINE CUBETTE VOLLEYBALL RECEIVES ALL DISTRICT HONORS

The Round Top-Carmine Cubettes were well represented on the All-District Team.

The Round Top-Carmine Cubettes were the District 28-1A Champions. They finished the season with an 18-24-1, won district with a perfect 6-0 record, and were on a nine-match winning streak until losing to McMullen County in the Region Finals last Friday.

For the Cubettes, Madison Markwardt was named as the District MVP, Bree Dooley and Jessie Rohde were named as Co-Offensive MVP’s, and Lillie Salinas was chosen as the Newcomer of the Year.

Meanwhile, First Team Honors went to Cayden Nelius, Morgan Nelius, Hayden Kasmiersky, and Rebekah Sacks.

Second Team Honors went to Reagan Williams, Makayla Smith, and Avery Nelius.

Honorable Mention went to Avery Lamson, Kaegan Wagner, Lizabeth Hernandez, and Alin Soto.
